FOSTER APPLICATION
Foster dogs should be properly monitored. Please alert us immediately if the feces are runny or bloody. It should be solid for a normal healthy dog/puppy. If the pet appears lethargic or is not eating, it is imperative that you alert us immediately. All puppies/dogs should be eating, drinking water, and playing. If you notice anything that is not normal, please contact us right away.

In the event of an emergency, please contact Pet ResQ Inc. for approval to bring your foster to one of our approved veterinarians. We never deny any foster animal proper care however, approval is necessary in order to defray our costs. ANY VETERINARY HOSPITAL VISIT WILL BE AT THE EXPENSE OF THE FOSTER UNLESS PRE-APPROVED.

As a foster, you will be asked to bring your foster dog to adoption events – usually on the weekends. We try to make them convenient for all. You are not required to attend ALL events, but the more exposure these dogs get the quicker they are adopted. We do ask that if you are attending an event you try to be there for the entire time the event is running. Potential adopters are notified of these events, especially if the specific dog they are interested in will be there. This is a great opportunity for people to come and meet the dogs they have applied for and for us to be able to evaluate the interaction between the dog and potential adopter. IF you can’t bring your foster to an event, please let us know and we can have someone pick them up and drop them back off at your home OR you can bring them and then come back and pick them up…whichever works best for you.
If you have ANY questions about the dog you are fostering they must be directed to Robyn or Lynn at petresqinc123@gmail.com. Volunteers/Fosters will not have any direct contact with the rescue/shelter/foster/owner the dog came from. Any and all information needed will be obtained and shared with you.

Lynn has whatever medical information was supplied for the dogs. If you have any questions about vaccinations, please contact her at petresqinc123@gmail.com. If your foster needs to see a vet, the medical information will be faxed directly to the office.
These dogs have come from shelters and therefore we have no “background” information on them. If deemed necessary, the dog will be evaluated by Robyn to determine the proper foster placement.

If you, the foster, need reimbursement for things such as grooming, etc. you will need to get PRIOR APPROVAL.
